Our Code of Conduct – everyone is responsible

If things are to be fair and just in the world, everyone must do their bit. Social values such as human rights, work ethics, environmental protection and combating corruption are more than just a vision: they are an obligation!

For us as a subsidiary of heristo AG, the Code of Conduct of the group of companies is binding. The principles of our social action apply to every member of staff and include business partners and suppliers.

saturn petcare supports the ILO Convention and the “Global Compact” initiative of the United Nations as well as the BSCI Code of Conduct by ensuring that these principles are implemented and adhered to without restriction. We purposely integrate business partners and suppliers into our CSR strategy. In this way we can ensure that sustainable and socially just cooperation at all stages of our value creation chain takes place. Our effective management system contributes to our policy of social responsibility being implemented at all levels.

  • We commit ourselves to complying with the regulations on the minimum age in our employment relationships
  • We advocate freedom of assembly and the right to collective negotiations
  • We commit ourselves to fair remuneration
  • We commit ourselves to compliance with working time regulations
  • We commit ourselves to observing applicable health and safety regulations. This includes an active prevention policy appropriate to the situation
