“My work as a controller requires a comprehensive knowledge of Excel. When my boss asked me whether I could run internal Excel training courses, I wasn’t too keen at first. In the meantime I have run almost ten training courses for my colleagues from various departments. I have also learnt a lot myself through the courses: speaking without notes in front of a large group for example.”

Advanced training means everyone can progress

Life means permanent movement and change. Every individual must adjust to these changes – professionally and privately. The continual training and qualification of our staff is an essential element of our HR policy. We want everyone to join in when this involves meeting the challenges of the future together.

We often carry out “in-house” courses with our own trainers. In this way we can design customised training schemes that best meet actual work requirements.

We offer our staff among other things the following further training options:

  • Development of the next generation: integrated degree course, trainee programme
  • Adaptation of qualifications: subject-related or individual (e.g. foreign languages, IT application)
  • Training for senior managers
  • Promotion of further training: e.g. in-service training, Six Sigma training
  • Collaboration with schools, institutes of higher education and universities
